- It's noticeable on their wedding photo how important role the bicycle plays in the young couple's life
Sas Péter from Győr and his wife, Dong Linh got married last August. According to their plans, on 14th August - the first anniversary of their wedding, they are going to start on two wheels to Vietnam.
"Our family and our friends warned us about the great trip, of course. We heard from them several times, that we have good jobs, we live in a nice location, we should think of children instead. We'd like to have babies, but I think, we can give a year for ourselves and for our common passion, travel" - the 27-year-old Vietnamese woman began with perfect English. Dong Linh unterstands almost everything in Hungarian, her pronounciation is fine, but she's still a bit timid to use the language.
"We'd like to have determining experiences, which lasts until the end of our lives"
"Our plan is to cycle for one year. From Győr we go towards Serbia, then Bulgaria and Turkey comes. After entering Asia we continue to Iran. From there by boat or by plane we get to the worldwide famous city of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. After the Arabian desert, through Sri Lanka, India, Burma and China we will arrive to Vietnam. We'd like to spend longer time there with my wife's family.
Altogether we try to cover 20 thousand kilometres on bike. We don't want to carry heavy load with us. This is not a tour of performance, first of all we'd like to have determining experiences, which last until the end of our lives" - said Sas Péter from Győr. The 30-year-old man gave up his job in Győr for the great adventure. "It wasn't an easy decision. I like my job, but we were like, we start now or never. We won't have such chance in life again" - added Péter.

Wedding with 500 guests
It isn't a secret goal of the young couple to check out the most famous tea plantations of the world. "We met as students in my homeland. Péter worked at a Vietnamese university for six months, we met at an event. First we lived more than 8000 km from each other. During the long distance relationship our emotions got deeper, so last year we tied the knot" - said Dong Linh.
The young couple said "yes" to each other both in Hungary and Vietnam. In the Asian country more than 500 people celebrated with them at the ceremony. "There's nothing special in this! In Vietnam a huge number of guests gathers for the wedding. It's not uncommon to have 800-1000 guests. Our wedding was medium size under the Vietnamese standard" - said smilingly Péter's wife.
- Linh's family went to Hungary last year and they visited Sopron
"The food in Asia is much cheaper than in Europe"
"We cycled from Győr to Bratislava and back some weeks ago. In the summer, we are going to test ourselves on the mountain routes in Austria or Croatia" - the husband told about the preparation. Answering to our question regarding the costs of the trip, we received the following answer: "We plan to spend maximum daily 5000 Forint (about 16 euro). We are going to eat local food. You should know, that the food in Asia is much cheaper than in Europe. With the money we save on food we'd like to travel longer. We bring tent with us, we stay in Buddhist temples and we search for other types of free lodging on our way".
