Nepal 03: The last weeks in Nepal and the unexpectedly beautiful India

31st March - 19th April 2017 

As Péter mentioned in the previous entry, we spent some days in Bhiman -   a small village in Nepal and I was giving some English lessons to the students at the public school of the village. It was for me a more sad than  a happy memory during these days. We stayed with the family of a teacher from the school and he helped to arrange some walking around the village, in the school and also some English lessons for me with students from different classes.

Nepal 02: A Buddha és a mélység

2017. március 15-30.

Minden nap, amit Lumbiniben töltöttünk, felfedeztünk néhány újabb buddhista templomot. A buddhista történelmű országok azért, hogy megemlékezzenek Buddha születési helyéről, kolostorokat építettek itt, ezt pedig sokan az Egyesült Buddhista Kolostorok Szövetségének hívják, az ENSZ mintájára. Amikor nem templomokat jártunk, akkor a buddhizmusról olvastam, és nagyon érdekes dolgokat fedeztem fel.

Mỗi ngày ở Lumbini, chúng tôi đều đi thăm những ngôi chùa Phật giáo. Các quốc gia theo đạo Phật đã xây dựng một loạt các tu viện và đền chùa ở khu vực được cho là nơi Đức Phật Thích Ca đản sinh. Tổ hợp của những công trình này được gọi là Liên Hợp Quốc các chùa Phật giáo. Những khi không vào thăm chùa, tôi đã đọc rất nhiều về tôn giáo này và ngộ ra được rất nhiều điều thú vị.

Nepal 02: Buddha and the depth

Every day in Lumbini, we discovered some new Buddhist temples. Buddhist countries, in order to commemorate the birth place of Buddha, built monasteries that many call the United Nations of Buddhist temples. While we weren’t at the temples I was learning about Buddhism and I found very interesting results. 

Nepal 01: Dal Bhatot ettünk, tejjel ittuk a teát, néztük a hegyeket és mosolyogtunk…

2017. február 24. – március 19.

A nepáli határt átlépve a mosolyok országában találtuk magunkat. Az emberek mindenhol mosolyogtak ránk, és komolyan is gondolták. Az utca csendesebb és tisztább volt, kevesebb volt a tehén is. Könnyen találtunk hotelt wifivel, forró zuhannyal és az éttermekben valódi kávét szolgáltak fel. Nos, Indiát valóban a hátunk mögött hagytuk. Eltöltöttünk néhány kellemes napot Hetaudában, a zöld, tiszta város momo mennyországában (momo: a gőzölt, vagy olajban sült batyu nepáli verziója).

24th February – 19th March 2017

Crossing the border to Nepal, we found ourselves in the land of smiles. People smiled to us everywhere and they really meant it. The street was more quiet, clean and not full of cows anymore. Easily, we found hotels with wifi, hot water and surrounded by restaurants with real coffee. Well, India was truly left far behind! We had some relaxing days in Hetauda, the green and nice city with its delicious momo heaven (the Nepali version of steamed/fried dumpling).

Nepal 01: Chúng tôi đã ăn Dal Bhat, uống trà sữa và mỉm cười...

24/02 – 19/03/2017

Vượt qua cửa khẩu để vào đến Nepal, chúng tôi nhận ra rằng mình đang ở vùng đất của những nụ cười. Tất cả mọi người đều mỉm cười với chúng tôi và đó không chỉ là nụ cười xã giao. Đường phố đã bớt ồn ào, sạch sẽ hơn và vắng hẳn những chú bò nghênh ngang đi giữa phố. Không khó khăn gì để tìm thấy khách sạn với wifi, nước nóng và nằm cạnh những nhà hàng phục vụ cà phê ngon tuyệt. Ấn Độ thực sự đã bị chúng tôi bỏ lại khá xa rồi. Chúng tôi đã có vài ngày nghỉ ngơi ở Hetauda, một thành phố xanh tươi với món há cảo (“momo” trong tiếng Nepal) ngon tuyệt trứ danh.
